The University Institute for Biomedical and Health Research (IUIBS, in Spanish) has been set up with the clear intention of creating the best possible conditions for the development, attraction and execution of applied R&D;+i (innovation) and top level technological services for university research groups, biomedical and biotech companies, hospitals and hospital research groups as well as other public or private bodies. This initiative aims to consolidate the excellent scientific and research level in biomedicine and health crystallized by a number of research groups, with the potential to achieve significant development and multiplication in pursuit of excellence, synergy and the convergence of efforts.
