Epidemiology of diabetes, obesity and chronic renal disease. The research in mainly done through an analytic approach based on longitudinal studies of children and adults to understand the physiopathology of these diseases and their complications over the lifecourse.
Research team "Nutrition, Hormones and Women's Health" focuses on diet and hormones as major components of women's health and performs analytical epidemiological research with interests in environment, biology and genetics for understanding risk factors for developing cancer and other major diseases.
