Unit for Applied Clinical Research, Department of Cancer Research and Molecular Medicine (IKM) aims at carrying out high quality research, supervision and teaching for better health. The department has a central role in teaching and supervision of medical students, as well as master- and ph.d-students in molecular medicine. The activities comprise basic- and clinical research within oncology and mechanisms of cancer development, palliative medicine, haematology, dermatology & venerology, infectious disease, molecular cell biology, physiology, immunology, toxicology, gastroenterology and gastrosurgery, experimental surgery, endocrinology, nephrology, urology and medical ethics.
